The first few chapters were brilliant, then I felt like it lost its way a little. It might be that I needed to give the book more attention than I was able. Still, I've kept coming back and thinking about the story for the past week now. That counts for something. I finished reading The Pages. One of the scenes that really resonated with me was a description of the train journey out the Western line...I will have to compare and contrast it with Bail's Parramatta Rd journey!
