		<description>I finished reading &lt;em&gt;The Pages&lt;/em&gt;. The first few chapters were brilliant, then I felt like it lost its way a little. It might be that I needed to give the book more attention than I was able.  
Still, I&#039;ve kept coming back and thinking about the story for the past week now. That counts for something. </description>

Ever read any Richard Flanagan? I loved his picture (and critique) of Sydney in The Unknown Terrorist. One of the scenes that really resonated with me was a description of the train journey out the Western line...I will have to compare and contrast it with Bail&#039;s Parramatta Rd journey! </description>
