a new year, a new home, a new city

Welcome back to The Andersonpost…

It’s been over 2 months since I last posted on this site. First a busy schedule of preaching, then a hectic mission to Laurieton, and then the move to Sydney, have all conspired to concentrate my attention onto other (more important) matters.

As you can see, the website has undergone a substantial redesign – the fruit of a couple of weeks holidays before the Moore College term begins. Please explore and make suggestions. The comment system is significantly more advanced with this new WordPress architecture and I’m looking forward to engaging in a bit more discussion.

With that in mind, I imagine that the kinds of things that I post about this year will change somewhat from the past. Last year I tried to use this blog as a space to reflect theologically upon the practical issues thrown up in a busy life and ministry among University students at the Uni of Canberra. This year I’m entering into full-time study once again (although I think that this will be unlike any other study I’ve undertaken). I’m hoping to use this blog to reflect practically on some of the theological issues we explore in the College courses.

It certainly won’t be just that – I’m sure there will be plenty of online chewing of the esoteric cud. I’m also happy to have subscribers and commenters post their own thoughts and questions for discussion. It’s always a privilege to be able to spend time nutting out together the big and the little of following Jesus.
Thanks for reading.

Keep the Faith,

Dan
